ANUNDSJÖ'S PERSON OF THE YEAR
Every year, Bygdsam Anundsjö presents the “Anundsjö Resident of the Year” award to one or more individuals who are doing or have done something good for Anundsjö. We accept nominations during a designated period announced in the spring, during which you can nominate anyone you think deserves the award. For example, it could be someone who...
is an everyday hero
is a real enthusiast
done something for all or part of Anundsjö
been involved in something for a long time and worked quietly
made a heroic effort
simply done something good!
The recipient(s) does not necessarily have to live in Anundsjö at this time, but there must be a connection to the area. The prize consists of a “Stora A” trophy, a certificate, and a cash award. The award ceremony will take place on Bredby Day
(If Bredby Day is canceled, the prize will be awarded at another time, which will be announced via Bygdsam and Anundsjö’s social media channels).
When there is a call for nominations, it is YOU who nominates the candidates,
then the jury selects the winner(s). The nomination MUST contain the name, address, telephone number and age of the candidate(s), as well as the name and contact details of you as the nominator. Justify and tell us on a maximum of one A4 what the person(s) have done
and why they deserve the award.
The nomination should be sent to:

2024 Patrik Eriksson
You have been involved in so much and have been active in social issues related to Anundsjö for a long time. You’ve helped bring about change and improvement. With your knowledge and drive, you’ve contributed to many projects, both large and small, that benefit Anundsjö. Some examples include the new Anundsjö School, Olympia, the carpool parking lots, the operation of the gym and its facility, and Tjärnstugan. You helped launch both Anundsjö framtid and Bygdsam Anundsjö , where you serve as a reliable, driven, and courageous chairperson. You could say that when you’re involved in making decisions, things don’t just stand still—they actually happen. Your love for Anundsjö runs deep, because as you yourself once said when asked what your favorite place in Anundsjö was: “My favorite place in Anundsjö is all 2,629 square meters that make up the Anundsjöarea.”
2023 Sofie Kristofersson
A fantastic chairperson of the AIF Ski Section. She coordinates, organizes, and leads the program in an impressive way, which has led to tremendous growth in Anundsjö’s ski program in recent years; during the 2022–2023 season, over 100 children have participated in the program! She leads an inclusive program for our children and teens at Anundsjö , where everyone (both children and instructors) gets a chance for personal growth in skiing. She’s not just the chairperson—she also participates in the training sessions, working up a sweat and giving it her all alongside the children and instructors.
2023 Olle Fjeldseth
A valuable young president of Anundsjö IF. The linchpin behind the long-awaited major renovation up at Olympia. It has taken a great deal of time, and many more hours will be spent up there to ensure that everything runs smoothly for both volunteers and contractors, as the project has inspired many volunteers to lend a hand—and to achieve the best results, their efforts must be guided and given space to thrive. It is so valuable for the entire Anundsjö community that the Olympia community hall and sports facility is being renovated! In addition to the fantastic dedication shown in the role of chairperson—where many hours, ideas, and behind-the-scenes efforts go unnoticed—time and effort are also invested as coaches in various sports for their own and others’ children.
2022 Jonas Byström
Jonas is a pastor and a fantastic role model for young people in Anundsjö, both at Anundsjö School and in their free time. Through social media and in-person conversations, he is a part of their everyday lives, discussing everything from EPA tractors, coffee made in a pot, Trocadero, faith in God, beaver hunting, and outdoor activities.
